This beautiful 3-octave bass bowed psaltery is crafted of solid highly figured Ambrosia maple. It features a back inlay and a hand carved 17th Century Celtic mosaic rosette. The rosette is relief carved by hand, interweaving continuous strands through a solid black walnut veneer. This psaltery spans 3 octaves chromatically (an extra octave is added below the Tenor octaves) from G to G, with the C strings marked with pearl inlay dots for orientation when playing. It includes a tuning wrench and psaltery bow with tuning chart.
