Our miniature mountain dulcimers are smaller 3-string versions of the Juniper and June Apple models.  The difference in the sizes is pictured at left with the full-size dulcimer on the left and the miniature on the right.  These instruments are very light and portable, child- or backpack-sized, and are capable of being tuned to higher scales because of their shorter fretboards.  Because the building techniques are the same, the cost of the instruments is close to that of the full-scale model.
